A pedestrian in La Jolla was struck after a car swerved onto the side walk, and crashing into a local restaurant.

On a Sunday evening in La Jolla, a group of young friends were walking down the sidewalk when a car suddenly swerved onto the sidewalk, grazing one of the boys and crashing into a restaurant nearby. The boy that was hit suffered broken leg bones and will require ample time to recover, the driver is currently suspected to have been driving under the influence and has received multiple D.U.I.s in the past.
